July 6th - 9th

This is just a preview of our pages for the kids camp book. This summer we will be making a 6x6 book with 15 thought-provoking double page spreads (30 total pages) and also be decorating the front of a American Craft Modern D-ring Album. The kids will learn new techniques such as inking, painting, sewing, and using stickles and chipboard. Each child should bring their favorite pictures of themselves and their friends, family and activites. Kids camp will be Monday through Thrusday from 10:30 - 12:00 and cost $75 per child including all the supplies and a light snack. Call or come in to reserve a spot for your kiddos because seats are limited.

Coming to Teach 4 Classes        Aug. 7th and 8th

I'm Vicki Flinchum. I'm a 45 year old Stay At Home Mom. I live in Central Texas with my husband of 7 years and our kids, a son, 5, and step daughter, 10. I retired from 17 years of government service to stay home and raise my children. I have been involved in arts and crafts since I was a child. More recently I owned a faux painting and home décor business and an online scrapbook store. I became involved in scrapbooking about three and a half years ago and was hooked. I love making altered projects and mini albums. I teach classes on a variety of topics from basic scrapbooking to complex technique heavy altered projects. I also teach students to use tools like Purple Cows Trimmers and Zutter Bind It All and DreamKuts. I host an annual crop for my daughter's Girl Scout troop. I love teaching people (young and old) to scrap, alter and create. I lost my Mom a few years ago and inherited a box of unmarked photos to chronicle my childhood. I think scrapbooking is important to preserve memories for future generations, something I wish my mother would have thought important too. I get my children involved in scrapping, making books and crafts, in general as often as possible. My DD used my scrappy tools, including my Cricut, to complete her science fair projects! I truly don't think there is anything you can't do with these hobbies. I've made books, altered doors, built clocks and altered furniture...all in the name of crafting and, of course, FUN.

My scrappy style is eclectic, at best! Some days my pages are neat and simple.....others, I throw on everything I can get my hands on. I have a special love of distressed items and ephemera.

We have the only selection of Custom High School Paper in East Texas.

Every Wednesday we will have a something on sale just for that day. You never know what we will be doing , so be sure to come by the store each Wednesday to get your wacky discount.

Crop night at the store will be held on the 1st and 3rd Friday nights of the month (unless a holiday falls on that day). You must come in and pre-pay or call and reserve with a credit card by Thursday at 5pm the night before to reserve you spot. Because of the cost in holding a crop night we need to have a minimum of 10 people to hold the event.Everyone who attends will recieve a 10% discount on all purchases.
